Who We Are
Grassroots leadership links orphans to services. Local volunteers dedicated to improving the possibilities for their communities insure that 100% of donated funds are used for their intended purpose.
Pauline Mukozho, Director, came to the United States and became a nurse. She returned to Zimbabwe to visit an ill family member and was disheartened by the poor conditions and lack of health services in her rural community near Mitizha. She began a tireless campaign to raise funds for a medical clinic that will have it's ribbon cutting in April, 2016.
The continuing AIDS/HIV epidemic has ravaged Zimbabwe and left an estimated 1 million orphans. The children in the rural areas are of particular concern for Pauline because of her first hand knowledge of their difficulties. She sees Vana Vedu Care as transforming lives, one child at a time.
